Some of you are already aware that the_bigtammys is running a special event called The Best of The Best. Unlike the regular Tammys, which are only open to comm members, the mods opened nominations for these awards up to any muse that has ever existed since the inception of theatrical_muse. All of them. Whether currently active or not.

Given the vast number of wonderful characters and the huge amount of excellent writing to be found in that wide a field, you may understand how deeply honored I am that Bill Adama made the first of the final voting lists for both Outstanding Writing of a Male Heroic Character and Outstanding Writing of a Male Canon Muse.

This ... well, it kinda knocks my socks off. *looks down at bare feet*

ETA the First: Okay, the third and last voting post is up, and I just lost a toenail or two as well. Not only did Bill make the list for Outstanding Emotional Post and get a nomination nod for Outstanding Comedy/Humor post ... but my new boy Ruairí (sonofgranite) made the list for Outstanding Sexual Themes Post. WOW people. Just ... WOW.

Bill and I would also like to take a moment to salute the other BSG characters and folks from my various characters' f-lists who are up for awards on the first two lists, namely k_thrace, laura_roslin, model_numbersix, worsttraitorevr, alan_shore, antigone_grace, artiejackson, heythereslugger, iamdoom, ilookgreat, im_a_pc, isabel_giovanni, john_h_holliday, ki2k, onewingbloody, queenemma, robot_friends, shaman_x, smecker, spartan_queen, will_porter and ynez_castillo.

And I'm still in shock that Six was nominated for anything. I didn't know people even read her prompts. *boggles*

As for Emma, thank you for the mention. *blush* She wouldn't be who she is, though, without the great stoic_slim as her writing partner. (Yes, I realize he's up against Bill, which makes me wish we could simply have a tie and be done with it... *LOL*)

Great people got nominated for great writing. It makes me so excited. <3
