(TM) 173. Fan Letters?!
Write a fan letter.
A fan letter?
You're not serious.
...
You are serious.
Well, frak me sideways with a brick. Fine. Great. Why stop at just one then?
Dear Gaius Baltar,
I want to offer you my thanks for vanishing from my ship shortly after your trial. Your perception and quick thinking saved me from giving into mydesire to appease my lust interest baser instincts and arranging for you to vanish in some more permanent way.
Dear Saul,
You've been my best and closest friend for ages, and have stood by me through seven kinds of hell. I'll stand by you now, whatever it is you're going through ... but I think your idea for a karaoke night at Joe's will have to be put on hold. I'm just saying.
Dear Lee,
Do I understand? Yes. Was I still frustrated as hell? Of course. But your grandfather would have been proud of you ... as I am.In spite of your contributions toward screwing up my love life.
Dear Helo and Athena,
I hope you take it as the compliment it's intended to be when I say that you two may have one of the most normal relationships in the fleet. One request though: as adorable as your daughter is, could you find some way to keep her out of CIC? I don't know how she sneaks past the Marines, but she keeps getting into thetoy ships tactical models. And her understanding of basic battle deployment is pretty frakking uncanny.
Dear Dee,
You listened to me talk about my anger, once. I'm here if you need to talk about yours.
*sigh* No grandkids, then?
Dear Doc Cottle,
I am consistently amazed by the massive amount of stress you cope with, being CMO on the fleet's last battlestar and the most experienced doctor left to the human race. You put up with one helluva lot in your position, and nobody appreciates it more than I do.
That said, I think the four Cylon basestars currently approaching us have to take some precedence over me coming into sickbay for my annual physical.
Dear Laura,
I realize you may not be my biggest fan at the moment ...but I'm still yours.
I hope we can still have that talk about that night on New Caprica.
And maybe recreate some of it?
Dear Kara,
I have no idea how you pulled this one out.Actually, I have one idea, but we'll talk about that later. I'm just glad you did.
Bring in the cat, Captain.
OOC from mun: Yeah, this prompt scored a direct hit on Bill's usually hard-to-find flippant button. I think he just needed to escape from the angst-fest into the meta for a bit. ;)
